Batch Processing - Analyze & Report Data

With SPIP™ Batch Processing large amounts of data can be processed, analyzed, and reported automatically. Batch scripts consist of a sequence of SPIP™ functions which are easily constructed by the user. No programing skills are required.
Batch scripts are used both for processing a large amount of files, but also for automatic and consistent analysis of single data files. Additionally, short Batch sequences may be used as snippets to ease daily work. They can be executed by one click actions using the QuickLaunch feature in SPIP™. In order to support repeated work, SPIP™ even has a feature for applying a Batch script every time a file is opened.

Easy Information & Results Reporting

Usually Batch Processing sequences include one or more reporting steps, where results are reported as Microsoft Word or to HTML documents using templates, built-in or designed by the user. Users can lay out their own templates in Word and thus easily generate compelling and informative reports.

The Word/HTML reporting feature may also simply be used as an advanced printing function for daily work in order to make compelling reports in a fast way. Saved report templates appear as items in the Active Reporter QuickLaunch ribbon button, and can there for be applied by a single mouse click.

Particle & Pore Collections, i.e. accumulating results from particle detection over many images, is fully supported by the Batch Processing & Active Reporting module, thus supporting particle counting over large series of images, for example for quality assurance (requires the Particle & Pore Analysis module.)
Batch processing is not limited to images, but can also be applied for profiles or force curves.
